SWINE FLU......now would someone plz tell this child to wear a MASK the next time he kisses that pig??The last week or so has been very relaxing....believe me....though i feel bad about the people getting this disease and would prefer to stay away from them...being at home and doing nothing still plays roughly on your mind...When I first read about SWINE FLU, I made sure I had all the latest updates about the disease,its symptoms,precautions to be taken,etc etc etc....watching nothing but all those f**ked up news channels all 25 hours a day!!! Believe me those news channelwalas had a big deal or probably still have a big credit of scaring the shit out of people....You change the channel and all they talk about is how dangerous this disease is and how people are just dying....After all this, honestly speaking, I have been forced to wash hands even after touching anything...ooh i forgot...you are not even supposed to touch oneself....!!
What amazes me is the lack of proper preventive measures by the Government...All the news channels hit right on this opportunity.....
The people who would thank SWINE FLU with all their hearts and never forget this disease are the ones selling those dumb Surgical Masks.....I was sent to the Medical Store(with all due precautions) to buy a pair of good masks which are supposed to block the H1N1 Virus succesfully...i told the bhayya to give me the SWINE FLUwala masks....and there he was with that glow in his eyes and a devilish smile on his face...he gave me the masks for Rs.10 each...but I insisted that he give me the best ones....and he gave me those masks certified by the WHO which were around 10 times the price of the normal surgical masks...Firstly, i never understood the logic of wearing surgical masks to sustain the deadly H1N1 virus(though my mom doesnt believe in this logic...) and secondly, isn't swine flu curable???? I understand the world has seen many such epidemics in the last century and will see many of them in the coming times....
Multiplexes, Schools, Colleges, Malls etc etc have been ordered to shut down for a week or two...Now this is the first time Schools, colleges and multiplexes remain shut at the same time....a rare occurence!!!I so badly wanted to see kaminey...the multiplex dhanda is facing a big setback due to the swine flu scare...Sadly, the swine flu issue has been more of a psychological disease than a physical one...
Hope this doesn't last for long coz anyways things are going to change back to normal in some time....with all this going on...the coming festival season provides a perfect breeding ground for the virus!! Lets pray and hope things settle back to normal....well and yeah...the title "Why so serious???", Courtesy-The Honda Jazz Commercial I saw last week on the TV....(:
