Ek nazar se dekhi, wo paak si khushi,

Duji nazar chal padi, ek talash me kahin,

Zindagi ke darwaazo ko naapti ye aankhen,

Dil se sukoon bayaan kare kaise baatein,

Kis gali me kho gayi hai hasi pata nahi,

Kisike pyar me uljhe, ye bhi koi khata nahi,

Mud ke kyun dekhe kitne aansu beh gaye,

Beparwah si kuch yaadein kyun chod gaye,

Wo lamha jo kal tha wo fir nahi aayega,

Ik jhuthe intezar mein ye pal bhi chala jayega,

Zara muskurake kisika haath thamke to dekho,

Is duniya ke dasturon me naseeb aazmake to dekho,

Wo khushi jo tum parchaiyon me dhundte ho,

chali aayegi, Tum apna haath aage badhake to dekho!!

Jab kabhi lagi haseen

Ye zindagi badal gayi,

Ek aas bhi jagi nahi

Wo baat bhi bani nahi,

Jo shaam yun to dhal gayi

Wo fir subah hui nahi,

Ab jal gaye chirag bhi

Talash karte hue zindagi,

Na pa sake khushi ko

Ab to ghum bhi humsafar nahi,

Chal rahe the saanj savere

Lekin koi rehguzar nahi,

Khwabon khayalon ko jee liya yun,

Ke ab to haqiqat bhi asliyat nahi,

Badhe kadam, Ruk gayi saansein meri,

Na wo nazrein pyar bhari,

Na thaamne ko haath koi,

Jee ke dekh li ye zindagi ab humne,

Waise bhi, Marte rahe, Jab tum nahi the!!

The Undisclosed Feeling!!

Looking into your eyes, I saw myself loving and true,
Singing those duets, 'How much I'll always love you!'
I learnt to be kind and you led my pathway,
Still so distant, why did you go away???


You encouraged me to always do my best,
Perform well and not bother about the rest,
Read my eyes and hear my heartbeats sway,
I want to know, why did you go away???


I remember those nights, planning about things,
To surprise you with those hand-made greetings,
Meetings over coffees and the fights to pay,
Please tell me dear, why did you go away???


Talking on the phones in the wee hours of nights,
Discussing politics, school and those stupid fights,
Sleepless nights and wondering throughout the day,
I'm anxious to know, why did you go away???


Your innocence and gratitude knew no bounds,
While your simplicity and beauty still astounds,
I hear your laughter, 'Oh I wish if time would stay!'
O my sweetheart, why did you go away???


To lose you now, how can I afford?
I've struggled to strike the right chord,
