Roothi hui raat..

Ye koshish jo ki hai sitaaron ne chand ko paane ki,
Raat roothi hai yun mayusi ban kar aasmanon ki,
Subah ka suraj bhi jaise zidd me hai ghar jalaane ki,
Duniya intezaar me bechain hai naya din sajaane ki..

Kab na jaane pighlega chand se saja ye samaa,
Toot kar sitaaron se mukammal hogi ye subah,
Baadal raasta bhatak jaane ki shikayat kar rahe,
Panchhi udaan bharne ki shinakht me hai ladd rahe..

Bahot si aankhon me neendon ka tyohar ruka hai,
Khwabon ki chandni me chehra khuda ka chupa hai,
Zindagi jaise sabhi ki ruki hai roshni ke intezaar me,
Mohobbat ne dekho nikamma kiya hai sabhi ko sansaar me!!

Author's Note:

This poem depicts the chaos that has been caused by the 

feeling of love of the stars towards the moon..There conflict

is the reason why the night sky is sad and time has stood 

still.. :)
